Mukwano Supports Kiprotich-Aqua Sipi Legacy Programme in Kapchorwa

Mukwano Group of Companies, has extended its relationship with Aqua Sipi Brand Ambassador Mr. Stephen Kiprotich, to his Legacy Programme.
Mukwano has facilitated the Kiprotich/ Aqua Sipi Legacy Programme, which has attracted over 100 children from Kapchorwa, Kween and Bukua districts, with 100 cartons of Aqua Sipi Mineral Water. The children who will be in the training camp for three weeks received an assortment of Mukwano products to use.
Mukwano Public Relations Liaison Officer, Douglas Mazune handed over the household items to the Legacy Programme technical team in Kapchorwa.
Olympic and World Championship gold medalist Kiprotich has embarked on the Legacy Programme to nurture talent in the high altitude Sebei region.
Mazune said that Mukwano does not only associate closely with Kiprotich but athletics as a sport in general.
“As part of our contribution to the development of athletics in Uganda, we have for two seasons so far offered mineral water to all national championship events. Our support to Kiprotich’s Legacy Programme is in line with Mukwano’s commitment to play a role in development of sports in Uganda from the grass root,” Mazune stated.
Mazune praised to Kiprotich for representing the Aqua Sipi brand and playing a role in development of sports through the Legacy Programme.
He urged other sports legends in Uganda to emulate Kiprotich by starting up similar programmes to nurture talent.
