 REPORTING TO TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL.

Key Result Areas *Drive light vehicles to specified destinations, *Transport staff to specified and approved destinations. Deliver and collect mails, messages and other items as and when instructed *Monitor vehicle condition & report any mechanical faults to the Fleet Maintenance Officer. *Monitor & maintain vehicle hygiene as per approved cleaning schedule. *Perform regular checks on the vehicles following guidelines issued by the Fleet Maintenance Engineer. * Maintain security of the vehicle assigned* Perform general clerical duties as assigned* Any other duties assigned by the Transport Supervisor.  Job Ref.  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

*Uganda Certificate of Education, *Valid driving permit with the relevant class, *2 years’ experience in driving.

SKILLS & PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

*Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion. *Effective Verbal and written communication. *Customer service orientation skills. *Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence. *Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions. *Decision making skills is required.
