Mukwano Group Responds to Afri-Aid Call

Mukwano Group of Companies has responded to the call to help humanity with a donation of 250 jerry cans of Mukwano Vegetable Cooking Oil to refugees in South Sudan. Mukwano Group Managing Director Mr. Alykhan Karmali handed over the consignment worth sh30m to Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre Catherdral. The donation will be channeled through Afri-Aid Uganda which is mobilising relief aid for refugees in South Sudan.

Speaking after receiving the donation, Pastor Kayanja hailed Mukwano for continuous support to the community.

"I have been seeing in media how Mukwano has been supporting communities through your numerous Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and I was looking forward to meeting Mr. Alykhan to thank him for that kind heart. I take this opportunity to thank Mukwano for not only this specific donation to South Sudan refugees but for your support to the community over the years. May God bless you," Pastor Kayanja stated.
