Mukwano donates to Bududa |

Mukwano Group donated foodstuff and goods worth 10 million Uganda shillings to landslide victims in Bududa. The goods that included maize flour, beans, food drinks, mineral water, jerry cans & basins were handed over to the area RDC Sylvester Wacheka at the Bududa district headquarters.
Mukwano partakes in the joy and sorrow of the communities we live in.
This time around we share the tragedy & sorrow of our beloved brothers & sisters in Eastern Uganda after the horrific landslides. As we sympathize with our community, we humbly contribute by way of donating essential products that we manufacture, as well as other food stuff. Alongside this, we pray to the Almighty God to give courage & strength to families of the victims as well as the lucky survivors.

As part of our CSR activities, the Mukwano Group has identified a need to promote the young generation specifically in football and Netball in partnership with the Otada Group.
Many young people have the talents but no chance of exposure.
This now comes to give the young boys & girls guidance, support for a better and brighter future.
This year’s season starts on the 6TH December and ends on the 26th December 2009.

Chapa Nyota a brand of Mukwano Group in partnership with Lira Municipal Council led the hygiene drive together with the public. The main activities were street cleaning, gutter draining and rubbish collection.
The equipment worth 2,300,000/= was handed over to the Municipal Council.
